Last night Mr. Man and I went to the Clippers game and let me just say how disappointed I was. They were up by 13 and decided to foul it up in the 4th quarter. The game was really close in the end and there was a 3 point differential with the T-Wolves leading. First off, Maggette shoots a 2 when he knew he needed a 3 to tie the game. So with 3 seconds left in regulation, quick foul and the T-Wolves, (I forgot who was shooting the foul shots) makes both shots. Time out, Clippers. They ready up for what was the last play of the game. Get it over to Mobley behind the 3 point line and he airballs it. 99-96, T-Wolves pull the victory.

So far in the '07-'08 season, the Clippers win/loss ratio is 50% of the games that Mr. Man and I have attended. We have yet to get season tickets, but the times we do get to go to games, whether we purchased the tickets or were given tickets, it always has been fun going. Win or Lose, it's an experience I like.

I'm going to post up pictures of the games I have been to starting with last night's game.
3/8/08 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (T-Wolves won)

Section 115: view from our seats. This was the first time we sat on this side of the court. The tickets to this game was given to us from one of my customers. Even my customers know how much I love the Clippers.


We stopped by the TeamLA store, but nothing enticed me. I actually purchased a lot of items online on eBay and decided that spending $25 and up for a Clippers shirt or jersey was too much as I spent $13/each on eBay. I should be getting those items soon so I'll be posting up my haul. Gotta love eBay sometimes.

1/19/08 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. New Jersey Nets (Clippers won in OT)

Section PR10: view from our seats. The PR section is where they have someone come to you and take your food and drink order and someone else brings it to you. This was the first time we had those kinds of seats. It was awesome as we didn't have to get up to get food or drinks. And because of that, I was able to get my alcoholic beverages and more than I would usually get. These tickets were given to us by the same customer.




We stopped by the TeamLA store as we usually do and I saw this purse. I don't agree with the price tag. I mean I could get a purse like this at Charlotte Russe for $15. I'm telling you I paid a lot of money just for the Clippers logo. But other than that, I love this purse. Gotta represent!

11/24/07 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. New Orleans Hornets (Hornets won)

Section 101: view from our seats. For my birthday last November, I decided to go to a Clippers game instead of clubbin' or having a party. We got a good deal on courtside tickets on eBay. It would have made my birthday a lot nicer if they had won, but I gotta admit for the price we payed for the tickets, AWESOME SEATS! I didn't get a chance to get pictures of Mr. Man and I. I also stopped by the TeamLA store and ended up picking up a nice Clippers tank top. When we got home, they were replaying the game on FSN on tv so Mr. Man and I watched the game and we ended up seeing ourselves on the TV. We were laughing when we saw it.

11/2/07 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors (Clippers won)

Section 107: view from our seats. Another great find on tickets on eBay. It was such a good game and a great way to start the season.


I re-did my Clippers FOTD for this game and because of it, the cameraman spotted me and put me up on the big jumbotron screen above the court. They even zoomed in on my face. That was awesome!

4/12/07 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Sacramento Kings (Kings won)
I didn't have a camera at this time so I didn't get to take pictures or anything. But this was the fateful day I got to go on the Clippers court to play a money game during time out.


1/17/07 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors (Clippers won)

Section 107: view from our seats. We went with a couple of Mr. Man's co-workers and one of his co-workers is a Warriors fan, so I'm so glad that the Clippers won this game!



5/12/06 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns (Game 3 of Round 2 in the playoffs, Suns won)

Section 208: view from our seats. The playoff atmosphere is sooo much different than a regular season game. I'm so glad that I got to experience a playoff game because you never know when the Clippers are going to make it back to the playoffs. Definitely not this season. =(


I bought this particular jersey on eBay and gladly wore it to this game. This jersey has been retired in my closet because I got it signed by Elton Brand (#42) last year in March when he was at the Costco in Hawthorne, CA, signing autographs and meeting with the fans.



4/4/06 - Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets (Clippers won)

VIP Suite: view from our seats. Technically this wasn't the first game of the Clippers that I have been to. In 2002, Mr. Man and his former company he was working for invited us to watch a Clippers game in a VIP Suite box, but at that time, I was no where near paying any attention to the game. I was bored out of my mind. I remember all night, I was on my AOL mobile communicator IM'ing all of my friends. LOL.

But I am going to say, this is that first game I fell in love with the Clippers and basketball. I guess since I won the tickets what better way to have Mr. Man love me even more by getting into basketball. Now it's not even about that anymore, I think I'm starting to love basketball all on it's own with no motive to impress Mr. Man.

So that makes a total of 9 games I've been to including the one in 2002. I find it funny because since Mr. Man is a Lakers fan, we have not been to one single Lakers game. I guess it's because they are so darn expensive, even the nosebleed seats.

All I know is that maybe one more time this season I'll go to another game. I definitely want to make sure I get tickets for the game when Elton Brand comes back to play. He was injured before the season started and he wants to come back before this season ends even though the Clippers have no shot at making the playoffs. That's dedication. He said, playing in the NBA is my job, I gotta get better and start playing again. (not in those exact words, but you get the idea). So yes, I can not wait for that day!
