Hi Everyone, I'm here! I have just been so busy these last few days. As you all know, I have been playing WoW (World of Warcraft) and I swear it has taken over all of my free time. I still read all of your blogs and actually there are some new ones I have to add to my blogroll so I'll be doing that soon. I just haven't had a chance to comment on them, but I'll get by and get to it.
I also had a very disappointing score on my SEC today (store evaluation checklist) so I'll be spending less time online at work in the next week or so after today.
I also started planning Mr. Man's 30th birthday party. So many things to consider. He is turning 30 and we all know it's all downhill from there. HAHA, just kidding. So far, I've already sent out invitations (through Evite), but there are so many more people I want to invite. I'm just waiting on them to respond back to me with their email addresses. Then I gotta come up with what to serve. Find out who's bringing what kind of alcohol.
I also have a big surprise for Mr. Man, but that surprise is going to take some time. I won't say what it is because we all know he reads this here blog of mine. So it's ssssshhhhhh until his birthday party.
So anyways, onto the topic at hand. Last Saturday, I decided to get my eyebrows threaded at a place in the same plaza as my work. BIG MISTAKE!

Do you see it?
When the lady was threading my eyebrows, I was wondering why it hurt a little more than I'm used to. When I got back to the store, I saw all the spots where it seems she threaded off my skin. So now I have scabs right above both of my eyebrows.
I'm telling you, it's karma. I usually go to the place around the corner from my house, but since I wasn't wearing makeup on that particular day, I decided to give another place a try since it was in the same plaza. Errr... I should have just waited until my day off. Never again will I go there and never again will I go to another place.
The place I usually go to (that I have been going to for the last two years), the ladies are super nice and no matter who works on my brows they always do a good job.
=(
What do you think I should have done? Should I have said something? Or like I want to, should I just not go there ever again?
*EDIT:* Some of you have told me I should post up the name and location of place. I completely forgot about that. So the place is called Eyebrow Image Beauty Salon. It's located in Montclair, CA, in the plaza that's on the corner of Central Ave and Moreno St. next to Sports Authority and in the same plaza as Washington Mutual Bank.

hun... u shoulda cussed her out! i am so serious when i say this! i mean, good lord she pulled off your skin! but yea, definitely, never, ever go back there again. oh yea and spread the word so no one else gets their skin threaded off.
imee, trust me, I wanted to say something, but being the non-confrontational person that I am, I didn't. And besides what would come of it, I mean what's done is done and me yelling at her is not going to change the fact that I'm going to have scabs on my face for a few days. Oh how I wish I could have mustered up the courage to say something. But trust me, I talked a lot of crap afterwards. LOL!
So yeah, I'm never going there ever again. HAHA she even gave me her business card, but I threw that away the moment I saw what had actually happened.
Don't EVER go back there again. That sucks! :( Sorry to hear about your brow woes. Geezus, I'd be puh-issed off!
But you should put up the name of the place so that no one else goes there and knows what happened to you!
Ugh!! I can't tell you how many times I've been in your shoes...my regular place rotates people a lot..so there's a 50/50 chance I'm going to have cuts...use a cocoa butter stick over the cuts..for me it helps them heal faster without leaving a scar.

ouch! that looks like it hurts! you should post up the name of the place so at least people will be warned.
whenever i have a bad experience with an establishment, i post it on yelp.com. hehe. so that way, EVERYONE knows how bad (or good) a place is.
good luck with your party planning! i just threw one for my mom's birthday, and i know how much work goes into it.
i can't believe that threading can be so harsh. I once got my eyebrows threaded and I'll admit it hurt and also I wasn't happy with the results, so never did it again. Girl! u should never go thre again and u should seriously show them what they did to ur pretty face hehe
owwww. :( Looks painful. I hope it heals with no scars <33333
Ouch! That looked like it hurt!
Ouch sis! Can we say "NO TIP"!!!
Oh no :( Hopefully by the time I comment, your cuts have healed :) I've never gotten my brows professionally done cause my skin's too sensitive. I would not go back, but even if you were to say something, what's done is done, so I guess it won't really solve anything. At least you have your blog to share your experience so that no one else has to go through that :)
my mom has been threading for 25 year now and this is the first time i'm hearing about cuts on skin while threading wow......hope it didnt leave a scar....and you should have taken them to court.... any way just wanted to say somthing about that... if you want to respond to me my email is expandedexpress@yahoo.com
OMG
I also got some "scars" from my threader. But they seem to be healing up but I was kind of scared that they wouldent for a while.
Have you been trying threading since this?
Or is it never more for you?
