On Sunday, I stopped by the Brea mall to do a little shopping. I brought with me my depotted eyeshadow pots so I can turn those in for the Back 2 MAC program. Here is what I got:
16 depotted eyeshadow pots + 2 depotted blush pots + MAC 15% off Friends & Family discount = total spent $33
I decided to get eyeshadows instead of lipsticks. Since I had 18 pieces to turn in that gave me a choice of 3 items. I also thought about the 15% off discount and this time around I didn't go crazy or anything. The MUA who was helping me kept suggesting the newest collections that came out. HAHA, I had to tell her I have it all already. I ended up getting Frankly Scarlet blush and Charged water and used the 15% off on those 2 items. The blush is a realllly red blush but I don't plan on using it as a blush. The MUA suggested using it with Flammable paint as a base and I'll have a red eyeshadow. Something I've been looking for.
Oh and I forgot the email print out at work and since it was my day off, I didn't have a chance to go to work and get it. I asked her if it was ok and if I can still get the discount and she said I could still get it as she had a copy of it at the register. Thank goodness, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased the items.
I also wanted to get the Volcanic Ash exfoliater, but they were out of stock. For some reason I want to try it out really bad. Has anyone tried it? What do you think? I called Nordie's today and they don't have it in stock. So I called Macy's at the Puente Hills mall and they have it in stock. I might just get Mr. Man to go over there and pick it up for me.

And since I was at the mall, I did a little bit of window shopping. I got a couple of bras from Victoria's Secret since they were having a sale. $15-$19 each, can't go wrong. I also picked up a Famous shirt for Mr. Man and since I love the Famous line, (can you tell?), I picked up a tank top for myself.

nice haul! believe it or not, i took advantage of MAC's friends & family sale too! so i've officially bought my first full size MAC product! haha. i wasn't too intrigued by alot of their products, only one product came to mind that i've SERIOUSLY been wondering about, their paint pots. that's the only MAC product that i've wanted to try & haven't been able to find a dupe of. :P heh. but i bought it during their online sale... of course. LOL. i still refuse to step foot into a MAC store. LOLOL. :P

The Back2Mac entry was very informative for anyone! I think I'd also rather get e/s instead of lipsticks also.

That's nice of you to buy something for your db's mom. My mom doesn't really wear makeup and my mother-in-law doesn't wear much on eyeshadows, but she does love the bright pink lipsticks so I gave her my "chatterbox" lipstick. It was perfect for her. But she's not a makeup whore like all of us. LOL.
Wow and happy birthday to your db. My son was actually born on Father's day. I held him out in my arms and said to Mr. Man, Happy Father's Day the day he was born. =)
HAHA, Mr. Man is getting torn up at work because the VP of his company is a big time Celtics fan. You should see some of the emails they have been sending each other and CC'ing to other people in the company. Hilarious! I can't believe they lost too.

Db's mom saw I was getting all these goods and decided she wanted some too. Just like when we were at Sephora in Vegas and I said UDPP does miracles, she wanted one too! She doesnt really even wear e/s. I asked the MA if I could pay separately and she said "No," kind of stupid because she'll get the sale either way. Then when I was done paying she gave me back the coupon because she said it was good till Monday. So thats why I said I'll just pay for everything. Also my mom is totally dependent on me to buy her EM foundation, funny thing is I get her random ass colors because I don't know her skintone color. lol

KC - Oh man, I was at Mr. Man's baseball game last night and they were sucking real bad. It was their league's playoff game and they lost!
but the whole game they weren't playing that great. Someone behind me said "Man, it's like we're watching the Laker game." I started busting up because I thought that remark was so funny.
So now Mr. Man is sad that the Lakers lost the finals and his baseball team lost their chance at winning the league championship.
Sucks to be him! Ah well, there's always next season which actually starts next week. LOL.
