Oooooh a contest! So here's my first ever contest I'm holding on J.Rose Online. I would love for all of my readers to get involved.
Here's the prize:
What is it, you ask? It's computer speakers. Ok well one speaker. LOL. The thing I like about it is that it is USB powered so you don't need to plug it into the wall outlet. It's great for those who use laptops because if you own a laptop you know that sometimes the speakers on laptops don't cut it when you're listening to music or watching that youtube video. All you do is plug it into the audio port and into the usb port and you're good to go. They don't sound that bad either.
Ok before you think this is not makeup related. HAHA. You have to know I'm a techy geeky girl at heart. So read on as there will be a special bonus gift too.
The special gift that will be included in the box will be a MAC makeup product of your choice. I will provide the list of items you can choose from. All items will be brand new in box.

Topic: Growing up with Asian parents and how it has impacted your life both as a daughter and a mother to your own kids.
Ok, this might be too personal though. Since you've grown up with Asian/Filipino parents, you probably grew up with strict parentals (if not then you're one of the lucky ones!). If it does apply to you, for the younger readers, what advice can you give them in handling or getting along with or having a better relationship in general with their parents who can be extremely traditional. Iunno maybe discussed how your parents dealt with issues such as growing up as a teen, pregnancy, nightlife, and your phases. And what do you think you've learned from them by raising you that you'll probably adopt when you're raising your own kids. Again... this might be too personal and I don't personally know you so some of these things might not even apply, but just a suggestion!

It would be fun/interesting to hear about what your thoughts are on cultural differences, ie things you think are completely different or maybe not even heard of in other places, countries..
maybe like, taking an umbrella out is essential in England/London.
I've alos heard that in some places in America there are lots of Starbucks, for example.
Also mahybe people's approach to politics, in England the media always slate the government, who ever is in power, they compliment the shadow/oppostition bench, but then when/if they come to power, they then insult them!!
I've heard the Beckhams are quite big in America whereas over here they're disliked by some due to Beckham's lies in saying he would stay at Old trafford forever...
England also relishes itself on football.
Maybe you could explore some things America are sort of proud of, and the cultural differences?
Ummm and how people interact with eachother, taboo subjects in England, our relationships with other countries such as people implicitly and subconsciously feeling a tiny bit of hostility toward Germany (in England anyway, it's not intentional it's just our relationship with them especially when it comes to football)
erm maybe something your country/state relishes itself upon?
and you could ask people to contribute to things that are different and similar within each cultures, i would love that!!

when creating a look..and starring at your collection of colors, what inspires you to pick certain colors for the look. Do you play with the colors first to see if it will go well together, trial and error, or do you think about what you have and know what colors work well together?
