Sis, Christiana, and I met up at the Santa Anita mall to check out the grand opening of the new Sephora store there.
First off, Christiana is such a sweet girl! I had fun hanging out with her today. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to even though she said she's shy! Haha, but I guess it did help that I do talk a lot myself. Anyways, I guess we were so busy shopping and talking that I completely forgot to take pics with her. HAHA.
Christiana, it was nice meeting you in person finally, thanks for inviting me out for today and we should definitely hang again.
So here's a recap of our shopping adventure and pics of the goodies I picked up.
I got to the mall a little too early (9:30AM). We were meeting up at 9:45AM and I didn't think I would get there that quickly. I even stopped by the bank and the gas station first.
Christiana met up with me at about 9:45 and we waited in my car until 10AM. We started walking to Sephora and saw that there was a line already formed outside of the store.
We got in line and they were giving out gift cards. We didn't know how much was on there until we got to the register. Some other shopper there asked us if we knew how much was on there. And we told her we didn't know. Walked around the store for a little bit to check things out and I ended up with just two items. Since I'm going to Vegas next week I decided to save my money for the MAC Pro store over there.
As it turns out both of our gift cards was $10 each! Yay! I was hoping they would have some type of grand opening sale but gift cards will do. It's like free money.
I originally wanted to just get the Too Faced Shadow Insurance but while we were waiting in line I came across a small can of some dry shampoo so I picked it up to try it out. Shadow Insurance: $17, Dry Shampoo Spray: $10 but with the gift card, total spent: about $21. Oh and Christiana got the Shu Uemura eyelash curler for $10. Gotta love free money/gift cards. LOL.

PAC Sun was right next door so that was our first stop after Sephora. I picked up another Famous top. I love the simple design on this one! Left side: brown tank top, $5 on sale.
Mr. Man called me while we were in PAC Sun so I asked him if he wanted me to buy him a shirt. He said I don't want anything from Sephora. LOL. I told him I was in PAC Sun and he said yeah, pick up something for me. So I did and this is what I got for him. YES, another Famous shirt.
Stopped by Charlotte Russe as I usually do whenever I go to the mall. They had a summer clearance on tops. All $2.99 each. What a great deal. You can't really see them in this picture, but I got a couple of short sleeve tops. $6 total!
After a little shopping, Christiana and I hit up the food court and had an early lunch, then talked a lot, then did some window shopping and then called it a day since I had to go to work.
And that there is what I hauled today. I didn't spend much because we're going to Vegas next week and I want to make sure Mr. Man takes me to the MAC Pro store so I can check it out.
So who wants to go shopping with me next time? HAHA! I'm always down to go shopping.
Just 3 and a half more hours of work and I'm officially on vacation! I'm so excited. What are you doing for 4th of July? Pool party at my house tomorrow. =)

Anne - I'll be in Vegas from Sun - Tues. We're taking the kiddies with us so they can check things out. I think it's more of a deterrent so I won't gamble. LOL. HAHA, we're staying at the Excalibur hotel and plan on taking the kids to the arcades they have and to Circus Circus, the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and possibly other places. It's more like a family thing for us since we haven't brought the kids there yet.
And that sucks to be stuck at work. I actually had to re-work my staff schedule today so I can go to the Sephora this morning. I told my guys I'll be late to work. And technically I was. About 2 1/2 hours late. HAHA.. or was I on time? According to my schedule, that is. Good thing I'm the boss, right? HAHA.
Nice haul! I had a feeling you would stop by PacSun for some more Famous T's. I'm going to try to get the makeup bag tomorrow, we'll see if they still have any. I read the reviews on the shadow ins and it is 50/50, they say UDPP lasting power is better. I see alot of bloggers jumped on the Ulta BOGO Ecotools brushes and now I want a set too. I was thinking about getting the Posh brushes you got at BBB but we'll see. Have a great 4th of July.

I love grand opening for their freebies/gifts/whatever they are giving. I remember when they opened Ulta in my city. They did the same thing give out gift cards. It was so funny how we all got $5 or $10 then the only male in the line got $100 gift card... lol~
