Mr. Man likes to have the radio on when we sleep. So we're usually listening to AM640 at night and sometimes in the morning on the weekends I wake up to something interesting they are talking about.
This morning I wake up to hear that the fires have come closer and is now in Brea. I get out of bed, turn on the TV and tune into channel 7 and right there on my TV screen, I see Diamond Bar! I was like OMG!
It's an aerial view and I'm trying to figure out where it is and it is actually on the other side of Diamond Bar. I went outside and here is what I saw from our backyard.
I was like that's not a cloud I see, that's smoke!
This is what I see from my house. I don't know if it'll come to us or if we'll get evacuated because the winds are blowing west and we are east of where the fires are at. But you never know.
I had my eyes glued to the TV and they already ordered evacuations to those that live in The Country Estates. The fire is about a mile, if not closer, to that community in Diamond Bar.
For those affected by the fires, especially those in the mobile home park in Sylmar, I pray for you and hope everything is ok.

oh gosh i hope it doesn't come any closer to you! a few of my friends that live in The Country got evacuated, including my ex bf and his family...T_T i work at b&n at the shoppes and it seems like it's closing in on the place!
