For those of you that have been following my blog since it's inception know how much I heart Devotion! Or shoot, you may have seen or heard me talk about them. I fell in love with them when I was 18 and am still in love with them to this day. My guy buddies laugh at me when I get all "groupie" like when I hear their songs or watch their videos. Mr. Man just rolls his eyes when I talk about them or play their music on my iTunes over and over again.
I was so lucky to have met them at a few of their concerts and (yes, I'm going to tell you this story again, for those that know this story) at one of their concerts (after the show) they even sang for me for my birthday. I had it on video, but unfortunately (insert sad face here) the tape it's on went bad and I couldn't recover the footage. The memory lives on in my head though! Pictures below from that night!
Anyways, so what's the point of my post here?
About a week ago, I was contacted by one of the guys from Devotion after he found my blog and my previous blog entries regarding them and informed me about a DVD documentary they are working on. I actually saw the info on the DVD documentary posted on their myspace page awhile back. So he asked me if I wanted to participate for the "fans section" of the documentary. How could I say no? So of course I said yes!
So for those of you who are hardcore Devotion fans like I am can also participate. Here's some info taken from their myspace page regarding the DVD documentary.
BE ON DEVOTION'S UPCOMING DVD DOCUMENTARY!
Devotion is in the process of recording a third album, as well as a DVD Documentary. There will be a special section in the DVD Documentary for comments. Such comments will specifically be for all of the fans, friends, and family that would like to share any "experiences" they've had with Devotion--whether it's a Devotion concert experience, how their music has touched their lives one way or another, or anything at all! If you would like to be on the DVD, send us a video on DVD, miniDV, or VHS of anything you would like to say and send it to:
