The other day I decided I wanted to get a haircut. If you follow me on Twitter, the pic above was taken right after I got my hair cut and styled. I was still at the hair salon. Let me tell you, every single time I get my hair cut, my hair guy, Leo, always styles it soooooooo nice. I'm telling you, after I wash it, I can never get it to look like that again. LOL.
Anyways, I realized that I haven't dyed my hair in so long and that I haven't seen my natural hair color in awhile. So looking at the picture, give or take some brown leftover on the bottom parts of my hair, that is my all natural hair color. Wow! I like it.

a before and after, is it just me or does it seem like my hair looks a lot healthier/shinier in the after pic?
So anyways, thinking about my hair, I went through some old pictures of all the different haircolors I had. I started dying my hair with Sun-In back in junior high. Who remembers Sun-In? HAHA I remember spraying the whole bottle and sitting outside waiting for my jetblack hair to turn blonde. HAHA! It never did turn blonde like I thought it would.

typical filipina orange days! haha. I think this is when I discovered how to bleach my hair.

orange hair with an A-Line bob. My choice of hairstyle in the latter part of my high school days.

One day I wanted my hair jetblack.

dark red brown and layered. Mr. Man likes my hair layered.

dark brown with orangey blonde highlights. the sexy beach soaked hair.

the red highlights. I love red highlights. It's just too bad they wash out so quickly and don't last long.

summer of '07 when it seems I was super dark. Dark brown hair with lots of blonde highlights
Anyways, I think the pictures are in chronological order. I know there have been many more hairstyles/haircolors than what is shown, but those are some that I've gone through.
My plan for the future of my hair is to grow it out and not dye it. When it is long enough, I want to donate it to Locks of Love. Then after that, I will layer it and highlight it again! Donating it has always been my plan, but I never could because I always dyed my hair and/or bleached it. So now I am going to go au naturale until it's long enough.
With all the dying I do to my hair since I was in junior high, you would think that by now it would be dry, brittle and thin, but no, I still have very thick hair after all these years. I can't say that it's super healthy because I don't trim it on a regular basis, but I will do that now to ensure that it is at its healthiest for when the time comes to donate it.
What about you? How many hairstyles have you been through? Hair colors? Do you take care of your hair like you should?

I love your new hair cut. Omg, I totally remember the Sun-In days. Haha, I had my roomie do it last minute one time for my bday and my hair was bright ORANGE but then again my hair has always looked orange, haha.
your new hair looks gorgeous! and you look so nice with your natural, dark hair :) I totally remember having orange hair at one point in h.s., after bleaching my long locks and not having enough dye to cover it (I wanted the dye to show up more and bleached it to get the effect I wanted)...it took an early birthday trip to a professional salon to fix, haha
