Got My Nails Done!

,

Why am I so excited about that? HAHA! Well it's been awhile since I treated myself to a nice pedi/mani and since I found out it's safe to get a full set of acrylics even though I'm pregnant, I jumped on the chance to prettify myself.

I haven't been able to see my feet looking straight down for the last couple of months because of my protruding belly so I have resorted to getting my pedicures at the local nail salon I usually go to. But this time around I decided to get a full set of acrylics to match.

Everytime I go in, I bring in my most favorite bottle of China Glaze nailpolish in "Ruby Pumps". To match, the lady did my acrylics with red glitter mixed in with the acrylic powder. Looks like a perfect match to me. I asked her to add the black line underneath on the smile.

If you remember, this is the same nail style I had done for Mr. Man's birthday last May. It does cost a little bit more, but I figured I'll have this set of nails for the next month or so (going in of course for at least one fill) and then gotta take them off before the baby is born. I can't be having long nails while changing diapers. LOL!

Aren't they so pretty? I think so. And my feet are so soft. I love pedicures, although this time around the lady who did my pedicure didn't give me a good foot massage so I definitely passed when she asked me if I wanted 15 more minutes for $10 more.

So tell me, in what ways do you pamper yourself? Mani/Pedi's? Shopping? Massage Therapy? All of the above?

for those wondering what color was used on my toenails.

i love your nails!! they're so cute :)

i would definitely to get a mani/pedi but i don't have anyone to go with and no occasion to convince myself to go get one by myself. i'm a big retail therapy gal.. but am trying to cut back, even with the sales! arghh.. it's so hard but it's worth it in the end to save up.

I'm LOVING China Glaze right now! I got Ruby Slipper's *brother* Emerald Sparkle, for Christmas, and now I gotta break it out next week for St.Patrick's Day! Your mani is pretty....you and your red! LOL. And don't stress on having the nails with the baby...if you get them cut down short; the acrylics are actually less sharp than your real nails.

the first thing I thought of when I saw the red was "that looks just like Dorothy's ruby slippers!" :) gorgeous color, and yay for mani/pedis! I rarely get my nails done since I own so many nail polishes..and I don't really like people touching my feet, haha.
