IMATS 2009 Adventure

Regarding my last post, apparently, my website/webhost didn't go down like I thought it would during the transition to another server. It was that quick! Anyways, I didn't get to post up my SOTW (Site of the Week) for this week and I'm barely posting my IMATS pictures. It's because I have been working on the Legion website for our World of Warcraft guild. As soon as that is done, it will be my SOTW. So stay tuned for that.

Now on to my IMATS adventure!

My day started by baby E waking me up because he was hungry. After feeding him, I got ready which actually took me longer than I originally thought. Finally I headed out, stopped by the ATM to get some cash and pick up some Starbucks for Christiana and her bf. I get to Christiana's house and I see her in pants and heels. I "thought" it was going to be hot during the weekend because of the weather forecast I saw earlier in the week. So I kept saying it's going to be hot! She ended up changing into shorts and sneakers.

I opted for more of a natural eye makeup look with the gray eyes. I paired that with some rouge lips. If you are interested in what I used, ask and I will tell you. Oh I used So Ceylon MSF for my cheeks for a subtle bronzey glow.

Anyways, Christiana's BF, then drove us to Pasadena where makeup heaven awaited us. By the way, he was our photog for the day. Thanks, Bri!

All in all, I had me a blast! It was more of a nice getaway from home, to recoup if you will. Total damage done at the show... $4, lol! Yup, I only bought a tube of Eve Pearl black eyelash glue. I probably would've done more damage if the line at the Make Up For Ever booth wasn't so darn long. I really wanted to get the HD foundation they offer and at 40% off. But we didn't want to wait that long.

Anyways, I had a slight sore throat before going to IMATS and I eventually lost my voice after all that talking Christiana, Imee and I did at Roscoe's. By the next day, it was completely gone. My throat still hurts now, too.

By the end I missed my baby terribly! That was the longest I have been away from him. When I got home though, he was sleeping so I had to wait until he woke up.

So that was my IMATS trip! I would definitely go again next year!
