My 4th of July this year was just as chill as it was last year. The same folks from last year also showed up this year give or take a few new faces. We had a bbq and a pool party at my house. The kids had fun chillin' in the pool almost all day, the grown folks had fun chit chattin', eating, drinking up and busting our vocals on the karaoke Magic Mic. By the end of the night, the kids retreated to the computer room whilst the grown folks retreated to the jacuzzi to have a few more words before everyone called it a night.

I think I'm going to make it a tradition to throw a 4th of July pool party/bbq every year. So for those that I invited last minute this year...(*cough*Imee&Christiana*cough*), be prepared to be invited again next year =).

the pool is nice and clean! we got a pool guy to get it cleaned up before the party. What was once icky green is nice and blue and of course, swimmable.

And today, while watching Days of our Lives (was trying to do a little catch up on that show), Baby E started smiling a lot. I caught the tail end of his smiling moment. Darn me and not having my camera around. LOL. But this is the first official clear picture of Baby E smiling! I was sooo happy to finally catch the moment.

So how was your 4th of July weekend? Today is Monday (well pretty much the end of the day now) and I know a lot of you is back on the grind. Sucks after having a 3-day weekend huh?
