I got the opportunity to meet the lovely LadyJane (http://shesoprecious.blogspot.com) yesterday for a dinner date at Akasaka in Walnut. Yet another chance for me to play dress up. So I tried a "Cut the Crease" look using brown colors. My cut isn't as prominent as I wanted it to be because I blended it a little bit too much.
Tina Marie has a great tutorial on how to "cut the crease" here: How To Cut the Crease by Tina Marie Online.
Anyways, here's my FOTD, OOTD and a few pictures taken with Jane.

top and shorts from Charlotte Russe, BCBG shoes
Do you remember the last time I wore this top? It was at my baby shower! I was much bigger back then. LOL.
So while Jane and her friend was driving down from Hollywood to my area, I stopped by TJ Maxx to look around for a bit. I only strayed to the baby section and stayed there. I found so many cute outfits for baby E, but decided against buying them because a) he'll grow out of them in a second! b) all he wears are onesies anyways and c) we don't take him out much to justify buying "going out" outfits. So I put those back. I did buy him a cute outfit for the Halloween season.

Isn't that cute?! and for $10!
Speaking of Halloween, my boys want to dress up as Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star. They want baby E to be Gary the Snail, Spongebob's pet. I tried to find a place online that sells a Gary costume, but have not found one. If anyone out there or if you know of anyone that can craft a Gary the Snail baby costume, please let me know. Otherwise I'm going to have to bust out with my skillz, lol, I don't have much crafty skills so hopefully someone can help me or point me in the right direction to get a costume for baby E.

Turn this guy into a costume for...

...this little cutie baby.
I was spending a little too much time in TJ Maxx so I had to get out of there and head on over to Akasaka (japanese restaurant) and meet with Jane and her friend.
When I got there I walked inside and Jane and her friend were already at a table. I totally recognized her right away and she recognized me right off the bat as well. We sat down, contemplated on what we wanted to eat and went about chatting it up as if we've been friends for a long time. Even though we had just met in person, it felt as if we've known each other and known so much about each other. All because of the power of the internet and blogging. Every time I meet another blogger I swear it gets easier and easier to feel at ease with them.
Jane had messaged me and told me she was a little nervous to be meeting me. I laughed it off and told her she had nothing to be nervous about, it's just little ole J.Rose! hehe... She had introduced me to her friend, Sylvia, who she traveled with and she's a sweetheart too.
So we "caught up" with each other and talked about a bunch of different things for about an hour and a half. It feels like the time went by real quick! I had invited them over to my house since I literally lived around the corner from the restaurant so they can meet baby E and my boys.
They followed me and when we got to my house they got a chance to meet the baby, the hubby and the boys.
I'm so glad that Jane was able to fit me into her jam packed vacation itinerary. We are actually planning to meet again Thursday morning for some shopping at Melody's Makeup Outlet in Alhambra so I'm excited for that!
We'll see if I get anything though because I have my eyes on a few items from MAC's newest collection.
Here are a few pictures that I was able to snap up of Jane and I. Enjoy!
