It's been planned for months! flymamaL has been planning her Cali homecoming and once I got wind that she was coming back, I knew I had to meet this woman!
I mean all those nights/days on BlogTV... reading her blog, her reading my blog. She is one down to earth chick and it definitely shows through her blog, her comments and her video sessions.
So... October comes around and she's back in the good ole U S of A. And then the Wuz, another dope ass chick, decides to come out to Cali too!!! I ALMOST didn't show up to the dinner. Well it wasn't because I didn't want to, it was because money was a little tight. BUT somehow made it work out anyways. I just HAD to make it work! When is the next time I'll get a chance to meet these two lovely ladies?!
I was supposed to head out with Christiana, but she had studying to do so I asked Imee to come by my house and we carpooled there.
So Imee comes over and we head on over to BJ's in Huntington Beach. The drive there wasn't too bad. I completely forgot how long it took to get there as Imee and I were deep in convo and it made the time pass that quickly.
We got to BJ's and immediately saw L, Wuz and msxJoey. Shara came about 20 minutes later or so. Then L's sister and friend joined us and we finally got to our table.
From the moment we walked in, down to the moment we got our food and even the moments after we were all done eating it was NONSTOP conversations here and there. Whether it was a whole group conversation or one on one conversation, there never was a quiet moment! Even when the dude that was behind us outside was yelling at his girl VERY LOUDLY, we still continued to chit chat! LOL.
I'm tellin' ya, you'll be amazed at some of the topics we brought up. HAHA.. I mean our conversations went from one topic to a completely different topic that had nothing to do with what we were talking about in the first place. But we all somehow managed to keep track of everything that was said.
Oh and it was definitely a girls night out. No MEN! Just us ladies talking about everything including our men! HAHA some of the things we said... =X
Anyways, I had a freakin' good time that night and I'm so glad that I was able to make it out! It's just too bad that I didn't get to drive my ass out to Cerritos when L met up with KT and the other blogger babes for her farewell lunch.

Imee and I were trying to figure out how to get a good buzz on a budget. ROFL! but seriously, we kept asking the waiter how much each drink cost. He probably got annoyed by us because he didn't know the price and had to go ask like 3 times. HAHA! FYI, never try to get your buzz on when you're on a budget. Because your drink will probably not taste right and in the end won't be worth it even if it did cost only $6! LOL.
Message to L: Mama! I am so glad to have finally have a chance to meet you in person. Although, it felt like I already knew you, like we've known each other all this time and we were just playin' catch up. I really wished I got to meet lil man and same goes to you meeting baby E. "Next time" is always the chant and it will probably happen sooner or later, but it just sucks that "next time" may be years from now. I know you were here for a short amount of time and you had about a billion people to see and a billion things to do. I'm just happy that I got to be one of those billion people you got to see =)
I also just wanted to let you know that if you need someone to chat with I'm here... well... when I'm not busy with the baby, haha! I already miss you! *HUGS&KISSES*
Message to Wuz: GIRL!!!!!!! You are too dope. I'm glad I got to meet you too! You always have theee nicest things to say/comment and I'm so glad to have had your support all these months especially with the Directory! Words can't explain how much fun I had chit chattin and catching up that night.
And if I remember correctly I met you through L's blogTV sessions!
I mean we both pronounce Hawaii the same way.. LOL, how dope is that! If I ever come to Hawaii, better believe I'm visiting the rock that you are on! I <3 you girl! *HUGS&KISSES*

Aw J'Rose. I am really glad I got to meet you too but I already knew we were goin to get along. Two words - games and babies. LOL But nah foreal, u are truly sweet and I love how ur always smiling and laughing. I really had a blast that night with all of u and am happy u and Imee made it out. Honestly, we will get together when I get back home. We have many play dates and dinners to come. Believe that!!!! I'll catch u on AIM fo'sho, we can talk baby/kid stuff all day!!!!
