MAC Spring Colour Forecast Haul

March 9, 2010 by Jaclyn Rose in , , , ,

Ok, I'm finally posting up my haul from the MAC Spring Colour Forecast collection. I couldn't wait until that weekend to do my hauling so I ended up going during my lunch break the Friday after it released in stores (Release Date: Feb. 11). I went to the closest MAC to my workplace and that was at the Montclair plaza. Which by the way, is not as close as I thought it would be.

Actually it's not that far and with no traffic, I would have been able to get in, chat a bit with the SA, buy my stuff and get out AND pick up a quick lunch.... BUT NOOOOO...

I hit almost every red light on the way there (since I had to take streets). And took a little longer than 1 hour for that particular lunch break =X

Needless to say, I got my MAC fix and was able to talk to my girl, my fave SA, Dorlisa, at the Montclair Nordstroms MAC counter.

I had my eye on a few things after seeing swatches on a few different blogs/websites, but it always helps to see them in person.

The blush Ombres were to die for! I really loved them all, but fell hard for Ripe Peach. Perfect color to go with my skin tone.

I also picked up a few eyeshadows including Nanogold (permanent). How come I never picked up Nanogold before? Such a pretty soft gold color. I didn't pick up any of the quads only because I have very similar colors to both quads. I did however ended up getting Hot, Hot, Hot and Straw Harvest as I didn't have anything too close to those colors.

Anyways, on to some pictures of my haul along with an FOTD look I did using some of my newest loot.

Ripe Peach - blush Ombre

Azalea Blossom - blush Ombre

left side - Straw Harvest and Hot, Hot, Hot
right side - Nanogold

Electric Fuchsia Lipglass
Oh and this color is just so pretty! It's so bright, I have no idea when and where I would wear it, lol. All I knew is that I had to have it!

This look below was worn out on our pre Valentine's Day dinner. We had dinner at a close by Shabu Shabu restaurant. (Shabu Station)

Can you see the Ripe Peach on my cheeks? LOVE IT! I went for a mix of the two shades and applied to the apple of my cheeks.

For the eyes, I went for a goldish/red look. Nanogold on the inner lid with Straw Harvest all over the lid and Hot, Hot, Hot in the crease and outer V. Highlighted with Ricepaper and finished it up with Blacktrack fluidline and Studio Fix mascara.

That there was my haul from the MAC Spring Colour Forecast collection.

Sooooo.... How many of you are still trying to find Ripe Peach blush Ombre?
