For those of you who know me, know that WoW (World of Warcraft) is one of my obsessions. Along with work, family, going to the gym and hanging out with my friends, I somehow still find the time to play a little WoW.
I started playing WoW back in March of 2008 and it's become an addiction since then, LOL. I started off my WoW obsession by creating a Gnome Warlock named Jrose. Mr. Man's main character he plays is a Night Elf Druid named Proxseries and he had started leveling a Human Priest named Rengerex as his alt and got him to level 71. He eventually gave his priest to me and I ended up doing a race/gender/name change to a female Draenei and named her Jaclynrose and leveled her to 80.
When we parted ways with our old guild, Legion, I put my warlock (who was pretty geared at the time) on the back burner while I concentrated on my healing skills with the priest. And she has now become my main character I play the most. Don't get me wrong, I love my warlock and still play her from time to time when I feel lazy and just want to DPS =P. But my leet heals is what everyone is looking for nowadays.
Anyways, on July 22nd, Mr. Man and I along with our current guild finally got to meet the Lich King (currently the final boss of the game). It took us a while and quite a few different group makeups to get there, but we did.

And after 32 days of trying... I mean literally sitting at our desks for up to 5 hours at a time we finally defeated the Lich King and achieved the title Kingslayer! All I can say is WOW! It took us various different raid group/people makeups. We even got so close on too many times, but just couldn't do it.
In last week's raid lockout the guild cleared all the bosses up to Sindragosa. And on the last day of the lockout, we worked with who we had online at the time and wiped quite a few times over stupid mistakes on Sindragosa. We got into the Frozen Throne and changed out a few players and said "LET'S DO THIS!"
AND WE DID! and guess what? We one-shotted it!!!! I mean it was like wow, for reals. The previous weeks, we wiped one after the other... each try lasting up to 20 minutes before we tried again. It was frustrating....
The movie shown at the end was pretty awesome too! Once the video started, our guild's vent went QUIET! and once the video ended, we were so pumped up about our new title.
So here are some screenshots because we all know... screenshots or it didn't happen.
I wanted to make a video of our encounter, but the Fraps program made my WoW lag so I didn't get a chance to.

this is the group we had when we downed Sindragosa for the first time. We then stepped into the Frozen Throne to catch a glimpse of the Lich King and to get a taste of what the fight would be like. Believe that we were intimidated just by the explanation of the fight.

Here's a screenshot right before we started the fight for the first time. Image is clickable to enlarge so you can check out the addons I use for my priest healer.

Guild screenshot with Lich King's dead body!

And I introduce one of WoW's newest Kingslayer, Jaclynrose!
It took us awhile to find a good guild to raid with after we left Legion and we finally found one in DötA. Up next are heroic modes in 10 man.
